Dr. Brandon Young grew up in West Bloomfield, Michigan a suburb outside of Detroit were he enjoyed playing sports and watching Red Wings hockey. He obtained a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University in 1999 and a Masters in Business Information Technology from Walsh Colllege School of Business in 2001. In 2007 Dr. Young obtained his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University.
Following graduation in 2007 Dr. Young moved to Phoenix, Arizona. He completed a one year clinical internship at Sonora Veterinary Specialists in small animal soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery and internal medicine. After completion of his internship he worked in the Valley for 3 years. Dr. Young joined Companion Pet Clinic in April of 2013 and partnered with Dr. Campanile in January of 2015.
His professional interests include neurology, endocrinology and infectious disease. His wife Kimberly is also a veterinarian and together they have two sons’ named Gavin and Logan, a daughter named Ripley, cat named Lucy and two dogs named AXL and Kalevra.
Outside of veterinary medicine Dr. Young enjoys hiking, camping, attending Coyotes hockey games and hanging out at the pool with his family.
